MRI Scanner Removed For Alliance Medical PDF Print E-mail
As part of the planning and feasibility for the extensive upgrade and replacement program that Alliance Medical are undertaking, Lundy Healthcare recently removed a GE Signa 1.5T K4 MRI scanner from the MRI suite at the Leicester Spire Hospital. Lundy Healthcare are specialists in the re-sale, project management and engineering of all types of imaging equipment and so were delighted with the opportunity to work with Alliance. From the award of the business to Lundy, the whole project took just three months, with the physical removal taking place in April 2009.The Lundy team required just four days to de-install, crane out and deliver the system back to the Lundy warehouse. The work includes meticulous attention to detail when it comes to packing the system as each item was individually wrapped and protected and then boxed for transport. A detailed inventory is completed on site which is stored by Lundy in order to facilitate the re-installation.

Head of Property, Capital Development and Support Services at Alliance Jo Waring said, “The Lundy team are very experienced and so I can relax knowing that they will do a great job” .
